The ruins of the church of Saint George lie in Zemo Ksovrisi village in Gori Municipality. This was a hall church with annexes, and today the buildings are ruined down to ground level and the roof is lost. Shirimi ashlars were used in the structural parts.
The entrance is on the south, faced outside with a very large stone and covered inside by an arch of shirimi. One window is cut in the apse and another in the west narthex. Pilasters stand at the middle of the long walls and at the corners of the west wall, arches ran above them carrying the vault, and the capitals of the pilasters have a well worked profile with rounded lower corners.
A rectangular building of large boulders on lime mortar adjoins the church on the west, evidently a gate structure, with an arched window cut in its west wall. A fragment of cornice with a relief frieze lies nearby, and a wide area around is covered with the ruins of enclosures and buildings.
