A revered stone with a niche in the name of the prophet Elijah lies in the surroundings of Zemo Ksovrisi village of Gori Municipality. Salotsavi means a place of prayer: people come here without a service as well.
The ruins of the village church of St. George lie half a kilometre away, with the remains of a church of the Virgin a little further. The area lies west of Gori, in the hills above the Kura valley, and Ghvarebi with its church begins to the south.
The place can be approached at any time. Candles and modest offerings are left here, the stone is not touched and nothing is carried away.
