The remains of a small church of the Mother of God lie in Olozi village in the west of Shida Kartli. The building was modest, and the lower courses of masonry are what survives.
Olozi lies west of Gori, in the hills above the Kura valley. Another church of the village stands a few hundred steps away, and the Kioti church and a Holy Trinity church are east in Bnavisi.
Access is free at any time, and the path runs across the grass. The masonry deserves care: the stones are not taken apart and nothing is carried away.
