The church of the Mother of God stands in Olozi village in the west of Shida Kartli. It is an active village church, and people come here without a service as well.
A few hundred steps away lie the ruins of a small church of the same dedication, so the village holds two churches of the Virgin. Olozi lies west of Gori, in the hills above the Kura valley.
Regular services may not be held, and the church can be approached at any time. Modest clothing is appropriate, and candles and offerings are left in their places.
