The ruins of the church of the Virgin Mary lie in the upper part of Zemo Ksovrisi village in Gori Municipality, on the slope of Mount Sakoreti. The hall building is laid of large stone blocks, the entrance is on the south side, and a window is cut in the east wall.
Almost nothing more is known: the description breaks off and the date is given as the broad span from the 4th to the 18th century. No century is narrowed down here and no details of the decoration are given.
The same village holds the ruins of the church of Saint George, surviving in far better shape: pilasters with profiled capitals and a gate structure added on the west survive there. The two churches stand in one village, so both can be seen in a single visit.
