In the Sakdrivake locality a church and a monastery site survive, that is the ground where a monastery once stood. The community left long ago, while the church remained and serves as a landmark for the whole area.
The place lies in the mountains of Borjomi Municipality, away from inhabited villages. Forested slopes and deep gorges surround it, and the last kilometres of the road are unpaved.
