The church of the Archangels belongs to the complex of the Mchadijvari fortress in Dusheti Municipality and is listed in the national category. It is a large domed building of cruciform plan, about twenty metres by seventeen, and twenty three metres from the floor to the top of the dome inside. The church is laid of brick with mortar filling the joints.
Entrances are cut on the west, north and south, the northern one later taken down. The west and south doors are dressed with a tympanum of hewn stone both outside and within. The drum of the dome holds twelve windows: three each on the north, south and west walls and one on the east. The central window of each facade is tall and narrow, while the side ones are three times smaller.
On the east the space is closed by a semicircular apse, wrapped outside in a straight volume. The facades are divided by rounded blind arches, and the east one carries a composition of five arches and two niches: the central arch is narrow and tall, the side ones lower, and triangular niches are set on either side of the middle one.
