A village church near Didi Gomareti known as the sakdari in the bushes. A sakdari is the everyday word for a village church, while the second half of the name describes not a dedication but the look of the place: the building stands in thickets, and that is how it is found.
This is another shrine of Didi Gomareti. The church of the Mother of God stands about a kilometre and a third away and the church of Saint George a little further, and together they form a chain drawn out along the village.
The two nearer churches can be walked, while this one is easier to drive to. Look for it by the place rather than by any sign: the thickets are the landmark here. The usual rules apply: covered shoulders and knees, quiet.
