The church carries a double name: Khizanaant after the family, Kviratskhoveli after the dedication to the Resurrection. That is how family churches are named in Georgian villages, joining the household and the feast.
It stands in Didi Gomareti, a hundred and seventy metres from the family sakdari of the Sikhuaants. Two family churches almost side by side show how village life is arranged here: each large family has its own place of prayer. The village holds six shrines in all.
There are no regular services and people come freely. The place is open, and both family churches are seen in ten minutes.
