The church is dedicated to the Holy Trinity, Sameba in Georgian. The dedication reads unambiguously and the church carries no second qualifier.
This is the fourth and last sanctuary of Patara Chailuri: besides it the village holds two unnamed churches and the Kopale monastery of Saint George. The village lies on the plain west of Sagarejo, among fields and pastures, while the Gareji steppe begins to the south. The church stands in the southern part, not far from the first unnamed church.
There is no fixed schedule of services, but the site can be approached at any time. All four churches of the village are easy to cover in one trip: three stand in or beside the built-up area, the fourth in the fields to the north. The rules are those of any working church: covered shoulders and knees, quiet.
