The church dedicated to Saint Nino stands in Patardzeuli, about a kilometre from the Shio church. Nino, who brought Christianity to Georgia, is among the most venerated saints of the country, and churches bearing her name stand in almost every region.
Patardzeuli is a large village of Sagarejo Municipality where several church sites of different ages survive. The area lies at the transition from the Gombori foothills to the Iori upland. The main settlement belt of the municipality lies between four hundred and eight hundred metres.
Photography inside is best agreed with whoever looks after the church. The site remains part of the everyday life of the area, and that deserves respect.
