The church ruins lie in Patardzeuli, about two hundred and forty metres from the working church of Saint George. There is no roof, and the lower courses of masonry and part of the walls survive.
The proximity of a working church and ruins two hundred metres apart usually means a new church was built to replace an old one that had decayed. Patardzeuli holds several such sites, which makes the village dense with church places. The area belongs to the foothill part of Sagarejo Municipality.
Keep to the paths and watch your step, since stones hide in the grass. The site remains part of the everyday life of the area, and that deserves respect.
