The Kviratskhoveli church stands in Patardzeuli, about seven hundred and fifty metres from the Saint George church of Dreidzi. The feast of renewal that gave it its name falls on the first Sunday after Easter.
Patardzeuli holds churches of Shio, Saint Nino and Saint George of Dreidzi, plus the ruins of another church. Such a number of sites speaks of the size of the village in the past. Sagarejo Municipality is one of the main wine districts of Kakheti, producing Manavis Mtsvane and Khashmis Saperavi.
Enter quietly if the door is open, and do not disturb those at prayer. The site remains part of the everyday life of the area, and that deserves respect.
