The church carries a double name: Dreidzi and the dedication to St. George. The first word belongs to a quarter of the village or to a tract, and many Kakheti parishes are named on that pattern where one village holds several identical dedications.
Patardzeuli lies on the plain at the foot of the Gombori range, six kilometres from Sagarejo. Namesakes by dedication are close: the village church of St. George about two kilometres away, a salotsavi of the same name three. The church of the Virgin of Ninotsminda village stands three kilometres to the west.
Three shrines of St. George in one village are confusing, so on the ground follow the coordinates. The parishes here are village ones and do not hold services every day. Dress modestly, keep quiet inside, and agree on photography beforehand.
