The church of Saint George at Bochigori stands in Shilda in Kvareli Municipality, among the household plots. The building is small and almost square, laid of cobble and rubble stone, and at first glance it looks as though a tower was adapted into a chapel.
The church has no apse at all. The entrance is cut in the west wall and the door arch is built of brick. The west and east walls each hold one rectangular window, the south and north two each of the same kind. A large rectangular niche is made below the east window on the north side, and a stone altar table is carved into the sanctuary wall.
Steps run along the east, north and south walls, the chapel is covered by a stone vault and roofed with tile. Sources assign the building to the late Middle Ages, and the walls and the sanctuary end have come down to us.
