The Archangel church opens the Kitsnisi foursome. Kitsnisi is a small village, yet it holds four shrines, all standing within a kilometre of each other on the slopes above the valley.
It is about six hundred and sixty metres from here to the Trinity church, three hundred and seventy to the Kvelatsminda church and nearly a kilometre to the church of the Mother of God. The village lies south-west of Gori, in the foothills, with neighbouring villages close at hand.
There are no regular services here and the church is freely approached. All four can be walked in a little over an hour, but the climbs between them are noticeable and time is worth allowing for.
