The hall church of the Assumption is the second sanctuary of Tiseli village. A hall church is a plain rectangular building without a dome: for centuries this type was the mainstay of Georgian villages.
The church stands on a slope apart from the domed Mother of God church, with some seven hundred metres of mountain path between them. Quiet ridges on the border of the Aspindza and Borjomi areas surround the village.
Getting inside is not always possible, but the exterior can be viewed freely. The road to the village is unpaved; after rains check its condition.
