Of the Moktsevi church only ruins remain: walls and foundations in the mountains by Tiseli village. Moktseva means conversion in Georgian, and the name links the church to the memory of the adoption of Christianity.
The two village churches of Tiseli are about four kilometres away across the slopes. The country is remote, with meadows, sparse woods and old paths all around.
Do not step inside the ruins: the masonry crumbles. View the buildings from outside and keep to the path.
