The church of St. George in Bolajuri is the working parish church of the village, where locals gather on feast days. It stands in the residential part and took over the role of the spiritual centre from the old Bolajuri church, whose ruins survive beyond the village edge, up the street.
A guest meets the ordinary rural parish life of the Potskhovi valley: no pageantry, but an open door.
