The church of Saint George stands in Kvabiskhevi village in Borjomi Municipality. Sources assign the building to the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. It is a hall with a semicircular apse and a wide arched window on the east, and the conch is spherical.
One large niche sits in the southern part of the apse and three in the northern, the sanctuary floor stands two steps above the floor of the hall and ends in a semicircular solea. A wooden iconostasis of the Russian type stands before the apse, and a wooden altar table sits at the centre of the sanctuary.
Three large arched windows are set in the north wall, an arched doorway half concreted from outside sits at the centre of the west wall with an arched window above it, and another arched entrance is made in the western part of the south wall with two wide windows to its east. The vault is cylindrical and a small eight sided wooden dome with a window on each face is set in its eastern part. The vault and the conch are built of boards, plastered and whitewashed, and the floor is laid with stone tiles.
