The church of the Mother of God stands in Arjevan Sarvani, north of Tsalka. The building is a village one and its parish is small, as in the other villages of this plateau.
The district is closely gathered: two hundred and eighty metres from here is the site of the old St George church, the village itself holds other church ruins, and four kilometres away lie the ruins of the church of the vanished village of Akhta. Another old place, the Naliba church of the Mother of God, lies close by.
There are no regular services and the church is freely approached. The village with its shrines can be walked in an hour, the distances being short.
