A church of St George stood here, and only the site is left of it. A naeklesiari, as such places are called in Georgia, usually keeps both the name of the saint and the memory that people prayed here.
The spot lies in Arjevan Sarvani, north of Tsalka. Two hundred and eighty metres away stands the working Mother of God church of the same village, and other old places are scattered around: the ruins of the village church, the Naliba Mother of God church, the ruins of the church of the vanished village of Akhta.
People come here to a place rather than to a building. The stones lie as they were left and need not be touched.
