Another church of the Burdiani cluster is dedicated to Saint George and stands barely thirty metres from the Virgin Mary church. Their dedications differ, so these are two neighbouring parishes rather than one church under two names.
Another site of the village, a church cut into the rock, stands half a kilometre to the west. Burdiani lies on the plain east of Sagarejo, away from the main roads of the region, and nowhere else in the neighbourhood are churches so compact.
There is no fixed schedule of services and the site can be approached at any time. The two neighbouring churches can be seen in five minutes; the rock-cut one calls for a short walk more. The rules are those of any working church: covered shoulders and knees, quiet, and no noise in the yard.
