Ormotsni in Sabue is dedicated to the Forty Martyrs of Sebaste: the word ormotsni means forty. The site stands about two hundred metres from the revered place of Didbatoni, so both fall on one short route.
Sabue is a small village of Kvareli Municipality adjoining Gremi. Within a small area it holds the church of Saint Shio, a Marian church, Didbatoni and Ormotsni. Such a density of revered places is usual for the surroundings of the former Kakhetian capital.
Modest clothing is expected, with shoulders and knees covered. The site remains part of the everyday life of the area, and that deserves respect.
