The ruins of the Archangel church on the hills by the northern edge of Zemo Kachreti: walls remain of the church, and the place will please lovers of quiet ruins without signposts or fences. A field road from the village, knee-high grass and old masonry: the full kit of the genre is present.
The ruins logically close the Kachreti mini-route: the basilica by the highway, the Mother of God church in the southern part, the St. Nicholas church of the upper village and this trace of a departed church on the hills. Four churches: from the living to the vanished, and the whole circle takes no more than an hour.
The place is open and can be approached at any time: there are no services here. The masonry needs care: no climbing on the walls, no shifting of stones, no traces left.
