The church of the Archangels Michael and Gabriel stands in Kurscbi village in Tkibuli Municipality, within the Kvenobani cemetery on the left bank of the Tskaltsitela river. The church is active.
It is a hall building with a five sided apse, laid of well polished yellowish stone and ringed by a two tier plinth. A three tier bell tower gate adjoins it from the west: the stairs to its floors are cut from polished stone and built into the wall itself, and some of the steps have now collapsed.
Each face of the apse has its own treatment, and all of them are gathered under an arch on columns. Large arched windows give the light: two on each long facade and three on the east, while two big rectangular openings are cut in the bell tower. There are three doors, and the south and north ones are framed by the relief of a transitional arch on two pairs of columns with a cross at the centre: on the north facade it is a cross with trefoil ends, on the south a relief of the crucifixion. Sources assign the church to the 19th and 20th centuries.
