Batumi in Winter Guide: Snow, Weather and Sea Walks
Winter in Batumi this year was not easy, but it pleased the residents of the city with a real snowfall, it was just a snow storm, blizzard, blizzard, snowdrifts. It was a real holiday, a fairy tale. People on the streets seemed to go crazy with happiness, because everyone was just swimming in the snow, making snowmen, playing snowballs, throwing each other into snowdrifts.
In general, people were in a kind of euphoria from happiness. And this was a real happiness for children and adults who have not seen snow here for about three years. Therefore, in the midst of the snowfall, there were a lot of people walking on the streets, a lot of young people, they came out in whole companies and everyone smiled, rejoiced, were very friendly.
And the views are amazing! Fresh air, the sea, on which wave after wave rises and literally stands right against the wall, a real winter sea storm. Winter in Batumi – it's very cool, fun and incredibly beautiful, very impressive! Therefore, if you arrive and it turns out suddenly that the real winter has come here, then do not be upset, but on the contrary rejoice.
This time, all this miracle began one fine evening. Around midnight, snowdrifts were already visible outside the windows. Seeing such beauty, many residents decided not to go to bed, but to go for a walk on the streets, on the embankment, in the center, in the Seaside Park. Everyone was shooting videos, taking pictures and rejoicing in this happiness together.
In the morning, it was already possible to fully contemplate even more snow-covered courtyards, gardens, which turned into an incredible snow paradise. And in the afternoon, it's already completely gone-gone. And people in their gardens and on the streets had to knock down snow from trees and plants so that they would not die from the cold, and branches would not break from gravity and wind.
And although the plus air temperature and the sun soon gradually turn the snow into quite deep puddles and slush, nevertheless, the feeling of celebration and fun does not leave people. Everyone continues to rejoice, make even more snowmen, and enjoy the most magnificent landscapes and views of winter Batumi.
