The church of Saint George stands about half a kilometre west of Tsaghvli village in Kareli Municipality. Only ruins are left of the building, but the plan can still be read in full.
The hall is laid of sandstone and rubble, the entrances were on the south and west and were later blocked up. The semicircular apse has one window and the south wall has two. A side chapel was once added from the north, and only its foundation survives.
A column remains in the north wall, once carrying the arches that separated the main hall from the north chapel, and the openings between them were later filled in. Sources assign the church to the late Middle Ages and lists it as a cultural heritage monument. There is no path to the ruins and the way goes across a field.
