The church of Saint George stands in Zemo Brolosani in Kareli Municipality, about half a kilometre south of the village cemetery. Sources assign it to the late Middle Ages and lists it as a cultural heritage monument.
The small hall is laid of rubble stone and the entrances on the south and west are rectangular. An arched window is cut on the axis of the deep flattened semicircular apse, one more window sits in each of the other three walls, and a rectangular niche is carved on either side of the apse window.
The altar, with a projecting arch in the middle, is raised by one step and separated from the hall by a wooden screen, a low step runs along the long walls, the floor is laid with stone slabs, the hall is covered by a semicircular vault, and the building rests on a sandstone plinth. The church has been restored: the roof was covered with slate, the walls plastered and whitewashed inside and out, and a wooden canopy added on the south. Another church of Saint George, built in 1915, stands fifty metres away.
