The Kaklebi church stands on Gorijvari hill by Gori. The folk name translates as the walnut church, and its second name is Lomisi St. George: only the dedication links it to the famous Lomisa sanctuary in Mtiuleti.
Gorijvari rises above the western edge of the town, with a view over the Mtkvari valley and the Gori fortress. The road up starts from the town quarters.
Visiting is free, and modest clothing is appropriate for a service. The climb is short but steep enough that sturdy shoes help.
