The village church stands in Gagluantubani in the west of Shida Kartli. No dedication has stayed with it, and locally it is known by the name of the village.
The ending aantubani points to a family quarter: in Georgia this is what a part of a village settled by one clan is called. The village itself lies in the hills south of the Kura valley, a kilometre from Kvelaantubani with its church of St. George.
Regular services may not be held, and the church can be approached at any time. Modest clothing is appropriate, and candles and offerings are left in their places.
