The ruins of an old church lie at Jojokheta near Bobnevi village of Gori Municipality. The name echoes the Georgian jojokheti, meaning hell, and that is what the remote ravine is called here.
The area lies west of Gori, in the hilly part of Shida Kartli. Closer to the village stand the St. George church and the Kviratskhoveli church, while Ikvnevi and Natsarakhevi are scattered along the neighbouring valleys.
Access is free at any time, and the path runs through grass and shrubs. The walls and stones deserve care: nothing is touched or taken away.
