The church of St. George stands in Bobnevi village of Gori Municipality. The village also appears under the name Seberoskhevi, so older records may list the area twice.
Bobnevi lies west of Gori, in the hilly part of Shida Kartli. A few steps away stands the Kviratskhoveli church, and a little further the village church with no established dedication.
Regular services may not be held, and the church can be approached at any time. Modest clothing is appropriate, and candles and offerings are left in their places.
