The village church of Khorenia stands in Akhalkalaki municipality, on the Javakheti plateau. No dedication has stuck to the title, and the church is called simply by the village.
A kilometre and a half from the church, at the edge of the same village, stands the small Karneti chapel, and four kilometres away, in Khospio, works a church of St. George. Akhalkalaki is about eight kilometres off.
The church can be approached at any time; follow the coordinates. In the working church keep quiet and dress modestly.
