Two traces of the past lie side by side here: a namosakhlari, the site of a settlement named Verana, and the church site of Kviratskhoveli. Wall foundations and scattered stones are what remain of the buildings.
The church stands in the hills west of Chobareti, on the border of the Aspindza and Akhaltsikhe areas. Meadows and sparse woods surround it, with no inhabited yards nearby.
The paths here are grassy, so wear closed shoes. View the remains from outside and do not take the masonry apart.
