Bornighele is the name of this St. George church at the edge of Dviri village, in the Borjomi gorge. The Kura runs here through a narrow wooded valley, and the church stands right above the road between Borjomi and Akhaltsikhe.
A kilometre away, in the same Dviri, works the church of Michael the Archangel, so the village has two shrines. Further along the gorge opens Atskuri with its historic cathedral and the fortress on the rock.
Stop by on the way between Borjomi and Akhaltsikhe; follow the coordinates. In the church keep quiet and dress modestly.
