The ruins of a hall church lie in Atskuri village in Akhaltsikhe Municipality. The hall of about six metres by four is laid of tuff fragments on a foundation of tuff stones of equal size, with the masonry set strictly to the horizontal.
The entrance is on the west side: outside the door is dressed with an architrave, inside the opening is arched. One small arched window sits in each of the west, east and south walls, widening slightly towards the inside and downwards.
A semicircular apse is separated by a shoulder, the conch rested on a triumphal arch thrown across a shoulder of hewn stone, and the vault lay directly on the long walls without relieving arches. Nothing more can be said: the church is half buried under debris and a landslide layer, and the north wall together with the conch and vault has barely survived.
