Of the Marian church in Lahili only ruins remain. The shrine carries the Svan name Lamaria, as Svaneti calls the Mother of God.
Lahili is a village on the upper Enguri rich in shrines: three hundred metres away stands the church of St. George, and a little over a kilometre the ruins of the church of St. Elijah. A kilometre off, in Kvanchianari, works a church of the Archangel.
Treat the ruins with care: do not take the masonry apart and leave no traces. The site can be visited at any time; follow the coordinates.
