The Virgin Mary church of Kldisubani stands on the northeastern edge of Kldisubani village near Sadmeli, on a raised slope of the left bank of the Ritseula river, in Ambrolauri Municipality. The church is listed in the national category and stands on a hill at the foot of the ridge, with the village cemetery around it and a large stone wall running for a dozen metres and more along the north side.
The main body of about ten metres by six is faced with hewn stone, and the work here is noticeably fine. The walls, about a metre thick, are laid on a single tier hewn plinth and clad in pale yellow shirimi ashlars. The church has two naves, the middle hall has three entrances, and the north and south volumes have entrances of their own.
Windows sit on the east, south and west sides. The north window is original, while the south one, running along the whole facade, appeared later. Inside, the layout repeats the outer arrangement, though with a certain irregularity.
