This khati is known by two names: Tsatskhviani and Zakaro. The one points to a locality, the second to the village, and both are in everyday use.
The three khati of the district stand unusually close together: Paetoni at Galavani about three hundred and sixty metres away, Shindiani six hundred and fifty. Such a gathering of shrines of one kind is found nowhere else in these parts, and all three can be walked in half an hour.
The site is open, there are no gates, and you can come at any hour. The candles, cloths and what others have left are better left untouched. The paths between the khati are short but uneven, so steady footwear is worth taking.
