The church of Saint Nino stands in the central part of Tezami village in Mtskheta Municipality, in the cemetery on the right bank of the Tezami river. The hall is laid of cobble on lime mortar and the gabled roof is covered with sheet metal. The church was restored not long ago and cement mortar served as the binder during the works, while traces of the earlier plaster show on the lower part of the walls outside.
The door is cut in the south facade, the west and north walls are blind, and one arched window sits in the east facade. The walls are whitewashed and the floor is laid with stone slabs. Small arches run along the south, west and north walls at the level of the sanctuary floor.
The sanctuary is raised a step above the rest of the space, its shoulders end in imposts from which the transition to the arch and the conch begins. The hall is covered by a vault. Large arched niches are made in the sanctuary on either side of the window, and an altar table stands beneath it with a cross carved on one of its sides.
