The Marian church stands in Sakramulo village. The dedication to the Mother of God is named plainly here, and no other name has stayed with the church.
The place is fairly secluded: the nearest neighbouring shrine, the Transfiguration church at Kochoba, stands about two kilometres and seven hundred metres away, the church of St George in Upureti almost four. Further north across the hills the Bulachauri side begins.
The church is rural and quiet, its gates opened by arrangement. The rules are the usual ones: covered shoulders and knees, a headscarf for women, quiet. The track here is a country one, and in rain a higher car makes the village easier to reach.
