This small church stands in the upper part of Mamkoda village. It has no separate name, and the village simply calls it the church.
Several sacred spots sit close together here: a St George salotsavi two hundred metres away, the church and monastery of St Nino a little further, and down the slope a palace naeklesiari, the site of an old church.
You can come at any time and quiet is expected inside. Modest dress is appropriate, and offerings are left where they are.
