A prayer place of Saint Demetre in northern Bareti. Demetre of Thessaloniki is honoured as a soldier and patron of the city, and in Georgian villages his name stands beside that of Saint George: both saints are soldiers.
The place stands at the northern edge of the Bareti group. The nearest to it is the prayer place of Saint Constantine at a hundred and twenty metres, that of Saint Barbare at the same distance, and the church of Peter and Paul at two hundred and twenty.
A prayer place with the same dedication also exists in Avranlo, some twenty odd kilometres away, so the names will not tell them apart: go by the coordinates. Keep to the usual restraint.
