The third building of the Shavsakdrebi complex has survived worse than the other two: a foundation and the lower courses of masonry remain. It stands a little apart, lower down the slope.
The Egrisi complex near Gomareti brings together three church buildings within a few hundred metres. The dark stone that gave the ensemble the name Shavsakdrebi was quarried nearby. The area is open and high, with pastures to the horizon.
Do not move objects left by the walls. The site remains part of the everyday life of the area, and that deserves respect.
Tips
