The church of the Mother of God has come down to us as ruins. It stood in the village of Revazasheni, which emptied long ago, and together with the other local church it remains the only reminder that people lived here.
The spot lies near Karabulaghi, north of Dmanisi. The second Revazasheni church stands only two hundred and fifty metres away, so both can be seen on one short walk. The place is open, with no gate or fence.
No services are held and the ruins can be approached at any time. The stones lie as they fell and should be left there: the plan of the old church can still be read from them.
