The chapel of Saint George stands in Rekha village in Tsalka Municipality. It is a hall building of smooth stones with worked blocks laid at the corners, rectangular in plan, with a semicircular apse on the east holding two niches.
The interior is whitewashed, the entrance is on the south and dressed with an architrave, and narrow arched windows are cut in the east and south facades. Sources assign the chapel to the early Middle Ages, making it the earliest of the three church sites in Rekha.
An old cemetery lies within the chapel grounds, and several stone figures of sheep and horses stand in it. Gravestones in the shape of animals turn up in southern Georgia and are usually linked to herding communities.
