The church of the Archangel stands in the centre of Rekha village in Tsalka Municipality. It was built on the site of an older Georgian church in eighteen seventy seven and seventy eight. It is a three nave building of worked stone, rectangular in plan, with a semicircular apse on the east.
An apse with three niches closes the interior, the hall is divided into three naves by three pairs of columns, and the interior is painted. The west entrance is arched and carries a cross. Windows are cut in all four facades, and above the window in the eastern part of the north facade a cross set within a double circle is carved.
A Georgian Gospel book with a carved cover is kept in the church. A stone enclosure rings the building with two entrances, on the north and south. The same village also holds the church of the Virgin Mary and the chapel of Saint George.
