The small chapel in Khando stands without a name: its dedication has not come down to us, and in the village it is called simply samlotsvelo.
Khando lies in the west of the Tsalka plateau and speaks for the local history: an Armenian church stands here beside Orthodox shrines, with villages of Greek names scattered around. Half a kilometre away is the church of the Exaltation of the Cross, the most noticeable of the local buildings.
There are no regular services here and people come freely. The place is quiet, without a fence, and cattle usually graze around it.
