The church of the Annunciation stands in the Kudro locality. It takes its name from the tract of land rather than from the nearest village, and in the district it is called the Kudro church.
The spot lies south-east of Bolnisi, away from the Sioni shrines: about three kilometres from here to the Mother of God church in Sioni and nearly four to the ruined Sioni church. So it does not form a cluster with them, even though it is formally counted under the same village.
There are no regular services here and people come freely. The last kilometres of the road are unpaved, and after rain it is better not to hurry.
